Shirish refuses to edit Farah’s film starring Shahrukh

Shirish Kunder has edited Farah Khan’s directional debut ‘Main Hoon Na’ and then he edited Farah Khan’s project, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ but he refused to edit Farah Khan’s next project starring Shahrukh Khan.

"Yes, it is true that I won't be working on her film. Till August 31, I'm busy with my directorial venture. Also being an editor of a film is like giving a commitment for nearly a year, I cannot stay away from being a director for that long. I want to concentrate on my films as a director now," said Shirish.

Shrish and Shahrukh had a fall-out after the most publicized war at ‘Agneepath’ success bash organized by Sanjay Dutt. Shahrukh entered into a brawl with Shirish Kunder at the party and both had a cut of words. Both had a heated exchange of words and following the tiff, Shahrukh slapped Shirish. Later they patched but all is not well between them even now.

Asked about whether SRK's association with the film backed Shirish from editing, he clarified, "I'm neutral with Shah Rukh. Neither is he my friend nor my enemy. He is Farah's very close friend and Farah and I are married. That doesn't mean that even Shah Rukh and I are friends. However, tomorrow if I go to a party and he is present there I will go up to him and say hello for sure. But I'm a loner by nature."

The war triggered between Shirish and SRK after RA.One's poor show, Shirish made fun of SRK's magnum opus on Twitter that irked SRK. Farah has been very close with Shahrukh for long years. She miffed Shahrukh when she signed Akshay Kumar for ‘Tees Maar Khan’.
