Shiney’s case moves to the fast track court

Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja's rape case has now moved to the fast track court. Today his bail petition has been withdrawn in a session court since the case has been transferred to the fast track court and a fresh petition will be placed before the fast track court.
Principal judge M T Joshi had yesterday announced the transfer of the case to a fast track court in Sewri. CM of Maharasthra, Ashok Chavan ordered the case to be fast tracked for quick justice.

"Presently, his (Shiney's) bail application is pending before a Sessions court and will come up for hearing tomorrow (Friday). Thereafter, it will be known when this trial will be taken up before the fast track court (in Sewri)," said Chief Public Prosecutor R V Keni.

Shiney is currently under judicial custody at Arthur jail road in Mumbai.
