Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora, other celebs observe Int’l Yoga Day

It is International Yoga Day on Wednesday, June 21, and several Bollywood stars who swear by yoga, are also observing the day. Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora, Bipasha Basu and her hubby Karan Singh Grover are some of the celebs who are fitness freaks and the secret of their envious figures have a lot to do with the inclusion of yoga in their exercise regimen. They have shared some inspiring pictures and videos of them in their yoga posture on social media.

Yoga enthusiast Shilpa was happy that she has finally been able to excel in an asana which she has been trying for long. Posting a video in where she is seen performing the Bakasana, Shilpa wrote, “Bakasana, It’s taken a lot of practice and so happy it’s finally happened..Yippie , Happy World Yoga day all. The harder the struggle the more glorious the triumph Never give up #WorldYogaDay #swastrahomastraho #TheArtOfBalance.”

Malaika and her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan also participated in a yoga session organised to mark the day. The couple who recently obtained a formal divorce were spotted at the same venue. Malaika, who was recently announced as part of Reebok's ‘Fashionably Fit' family, wore a black vest from the apparel brand and black leggings, while Arbaaz sported white collared T-shirt with black trousers.

Earlier, Malaika posted a picture of her on Instagram and wrote, “Mumbai, join me for International Yoga Day celebrations at #YogaByTheBay on June 21st at Marine Drive! #IDYwithReebok @Reebokwomen_india.”

Bipasha shared pictures of her and Karan showing off some tough yoga poses on her Instagram page. She captioned one picture, “Yoga is like Life - It's a beautiful balance of Holding On & Letting Go Its magical  Keep practicing , we are all work in progress. Happy #internationalyogaday #loveyourself #yogimonkey.”

Bipasha captioned another image as, “Inhale Love ... Exhale Hate! #loveyourself #yogimonkey #internationalyogaday.”

Actress Juhi Chawla, who is nearing 50 years of age, also posted a picture of her doing a yoga asana and quoted spiritual leader Sadhguru in the captioned. She wrote, “Yoga means to unite the limited with the unlimited. - Sadhguru #InternationalYogaDay.”

Aditi Rao Hydari and tweeted a picture of her doing chakrasana and captioned it, “The yoga way of life...#internationalyogaday #moonchild #themoonmademedoit #findyourstrong #findyourbalance.”
