Bachchan has lent his own voice to the two and a half minute long foot tapping number. He has previously sung in films like ‘Don’, ‘Kahaani’, ‘Buddha hoga tera baap’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’. This ‘Piddly’ song has been written by Swanand Kirkire and the music has been composed by Illyaraja. It is a captivating number.

So, the story is sure to be something quite out of the ordinary. Speculations ran high regarding the unusual name of the film.

Director Balki had confirmed, "Yes, we've finally titled the film 'Shamitabh', as in 'Sh' before Amitabh. It is the name of a character in the film. We're half way through our shoot and we've enjoyed every bit of our journey so far."

In addition to Big B, Dhanush, who made his debut in Bollywood with ‘Ranjhanaa’ is also playing a lead role. According to rumours, the role was first thought to be offered to Shahrukh Khan but was later offered to Dhanush. The name has been explained by the ‘sh’ of Dhanush before Amitabh.
