Shamita Shetty abused, driver slapped in road rage incident

Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty has registered an FIR at Rabodi Police Station. In her complaints, she stated that three biker allegedly rammed into the car. The bikers abused the actress and also got physical with her driver.

When Shamita Shetty's driver Darshan Sawant stepped out to inspect the damage of the car, the bikers reportedly manhandled and slapped the driver. The incident took place at Viviana Mall in Thane.

Darshan Sawant also lodged complaint against them for abusing and threatening him.  The incident reportedly took place around 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon. However, no one was injured in the incident.

The complaint was lodged at Rabodi Police Station, Ms Shetty's driver provided the details of the vehicle of the culprits, reports TOI: "The police have registered a case against the three yet-to-be-identified persons, whose vehicle details have been provided by Shetty's driver, Darshan Sawant, in his complaint at the Rabodi police station." 

A case has been registered under sections 279, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal code. Investigation is underway and police is yet to track the bikers.
