Shahrukh, Alia kick-start ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ with a bang


Shahrukh Khan and Alia Khan lightens up the new season of the popular talk Show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ and the couple shows incredible chemistry. The duo answered many interesting questions of the host Karan Johar like Alia said that she wanted to stalk Kangana Ranaut while Shahrukh says he wants to know if Ranveer Singh wore a padded underwear in ‘Befikre’.

Shahrukh and Alia spice up the opening episode. Alia also talked about her link-ups, denying her affair with Sidharth, the ‘Highway’ actress said, “I have not dated anyone. Nor Sid, Varun (Dhawan) or Arjun (Kapoor). Why should I be in a relationship? I am taking a break from it.”

On being asked if she was ever attracted to SRK, Alia said, “Of course! Even if I was dating it is okay to be attracted especially to SRK. I always loved him. It felt surreal to share the screen with him. While shooting the kabaddi-with-the-sea scene, Gauri told me to forget that he is SRK”

Shahrukh Khan also praised Alia Bhatt to the heavens. He stated that she is too good “too soon” and she should also experience everything that the industry has to offer. He said he loves Alia’s relentless attitude. He added that Alia is too emotional about her work but she should also get detached. In fact, he termed her, demotional (Detached + Emotional).

Alia Bhatt, on being asked who she would like to stalk from the industry, she replied it’s Kangana Ranaut. She said that she would like to know where Kangana Ranaut heads to every other day in nice airport spottings. On the other hand, SRK’s answer to what he would ask Ranveer Singh left the audience in splits. He said, “I would like to know where he got the padded underwear which he is wearing in Befikre.” Karan asked if Ranveer is wearing padded underpants to which SRK said if he’s not, he is Ranveer’s fan.

During the show, Shahrukh Khan revealed about his biggest mistake ever to reject ‘3 Idiots’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani and quipped if ever planned his biography, he will name it ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’.

The actor was also asked what would be Salman Khan’s biography called, to which the superstar said, “Kal Ho Na Ho phir bhi meri to chalti rahegi.”
