Shahruk Khan shoots 'Fan' at Madame Tussauds

What happens when a stellar personality shows up at an equally brilliant place? Well its simple- King Khan happens! Shah Rukh’s occupation with ‘Fan’ shooting was visible few days ago when some stills form the sets surfaced the internet. While cameras caught him at Blenheim Palace in UK recently, fans were deprived of any statements from the actor about shooting at the place. But this time, Shah Rukh hasn’t disappointed the millions and took to Twitter for expressing how glad he was.

The actor filmed for ‘Fan’ at Madame Tussauds museum in London. Shah Rukh is one of the people to have his statue established at this renowned museum. The actor has a lot to be proud of. But he never forgets to appreciate people who help him and this time was no exception. Shah Rukh tweeted on 1st April – “Thanx Madame Tussauds. Allowing us 2 shoot Fan with all aur’ stars & our star Maneesh. Very gracious of u. 1st film to shot at ur premises” And milestones are sure to follow SRK. With the shooting, ‘Fan’ became the first film to have been filmed at Madame Tussaud’s museum! This is the first time any film ever has been granted the permission to shoot at the premises of the museum.

It was in 2007 that Shah Rukh was immortalized in the wax statue. He was the third Indian actor to have this honor - after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan. Moreover, other variations of his statue are present at Madame Tussauds museums in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Washington and New York. His life-size statue at London’s Madame Tussauds museum shows him in black suit. It even features his cute dimples that are one of the best things people like about his looks. When Shah Rukh unveiled the statue in 2007, he said – “My mother wished I was part of Madame Tussauds... and when it comes true, you think - Is this the end and am I to stop working now?”

Shah Rukh has been working hard on the ‘Fan’ sets despite of any and every obstacles. This was evident from what he tweeted last month – “Serious Ouch time! Hamstring shaken fortunately not stirred. Injections galore, running like a duck. Not that I don’t like ducks but it sucks!” He suffered a muscle pull when he was in Croatia, shooting for the film. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Fan’ would reach the theaters next year.
