Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira watches ‘Noor’, Anushka also arrives
Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput was spotted arriving for the special screening of ‘Noor’. Though her actor hubby was rumoured to be romantically linked up with Sonakshi, Mira seemed to be unfazed by those floating rumors and maintains a cordial relationship with Shahid’s ex-flame.
Sonakshi Sinha and Mira Rajput bonds very well. During Shahid’s last birthday, Mira included her name in the guest list and surprisingly Sonakshi graced Shahid’s last birthday bash.
Apart from Mira, Anushka Sharma also spotted. She smiled and waved to the paparazzi. designer Masaba Gupta, Vishal and Shekhar, Niketan Madhok, director Punit Malhotra were among others.
Earlier this week, the actress arranged a special screening of ‘Noor’ for her family. Her mom Poonam Sinha was seen in the same car with her star daughter. Sonakshi was spotted with injured arm. She suffered injury and dons a bandage. Her twins brother Luv and Kush also arrived to watch ‘Noor’.
‘Noor’ based on Pakistani scribe writer Saba Imtiaz's 2014 novel, ‘Karachi You're Killing Me’ traces the journey of a young journalist her the mishaps she meted with while chasing breaking news.
The film will mark Bollywood debut host of debuts like stand-up comedian Kanan Gill VJ-turned-host, Shibani Dandekar and ad film maker Sunheel Sippy.
It is also learnt that Sunny Leone will also play a cameo in the film.
Speaking about ‘Noor’, Sonakshi said, "Basically Noor is the journey of a girl who just happens to be a journalist.
It's about the ups and downs in her relationships with friends,
family and co-workers that every girl will relate to. It's a nice novel but
since our film is based in Mumbai and not Karachi, it's more about a single
girl in the city. There are no bomb sites, ours is a fun film," she
