Shahid Kapoor won’t judge ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ for entire season

After actress Madhuri Dixit Nene and choreographer Remo D’ Souza quit the dance show ‘Jhalak Dijhhla Jaa’ Actor Shahid Kapoor and choreographer Ganesh Hegde were roped in to replace the diva and the ‘ABCD’ director.

However, Shahid who is also a very good dancer will not judge the entire season of the show, now called ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’. The actor who will be making his small screen debut with the show will be a judge for only eight episodes.

The ‘Haider’ star who has already started shooting for ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded ‘, is reportedly charging Rs 1.75 crore per episode for his television debut.

“Shahid had committed his dates for only eight episodes. Since, the makers were very keen in working with Shahid Kapoor, they agreed to his terms of being a part for only few starting episodes," according to reports in a daily.

The makers of the show have also roped in Lauren Gottlieb as the fourth judge. The American dancer has been a participant of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’. 

She has also acted in Remo’s dance-based films ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ and its recently released sequel ‘ABCD 2’ starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. She was also seen in Arshad Warsi and Jackky Bhagnani starrer ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ and also made a special appearance in a song in ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!.

Karan Johar is the only judge from the previous seasons in the new edition of the show will go on air from July 11 on Colors television.

Celebrities like Shamita Shetty, Raftaar, Vivian Dsena, Radhika Madan, Kavita Kaushik, Sanaya Irani, Deepika Samson, Ashish Chowdhry, Mohit Malik, Scarlett Mellish Wilson and Faisal Khan will be participating along with their respective choreographer partners.
