Shah Rukh Khan to launch first song of ‘JHMS’ in Ahmedabad


The first song from Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ will be launched in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad today. The song is titled ‘Radha’, and King Khan and Anushka yesterday indulged in a Twitter banter hinting about the song launch.

Anushka directed a tweet to Shah Rukh and wrote, “Herry! Suna hai you’re going to meet a lot of Sejals in Ahmedabad? Main kaafi nahi thi? @iamsrk @RedChilliesEnt.” Her co-star replied, “Well, they have all agreed to be my Radha! Do you? @AnushkaSharma @RedChilliesEnt #RadhaComingTomorrow.” Anushka replied by tweeting, “Sochti hoon Kal batati hoon if I can be your Radha @iamsrk #RadhaComingTomorrow.”

Earlier, the makers of the movie, in a unique promotional strategy, had initiated a contest led by Shah Rukh that would result in the superstar visiting the city that has the majority of girls named Sejal, Anushka's character in the film.

In response to the contest, over 7000 persons named Sejals from across the country have written to Shah Rukh, and Ahmedabad has emerged victorious with the maximum number of Sejals. The actor will visit the city today and meet his fans and also launch the first track of the Imtiaz Ali directorial.

‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is a romantic comedy and has been shot in the picturesque locations of Europe, including Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest, besides in Punjab and Mumbai. The movie is slated to release on August 4.
