Shah Rukh Khan shoots for ‘Fan’ in home town Delhi

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in his home town Delhi shooting for one of his much awaited movie ‘Fan’. The ‘Chennai Express’ star shared his excitement about being at his home town and posted a picture of the city’s famous Red Fort, on Twitter.

The 50-year-old actor also added that he will be visiting his parents in the evening. Shah Rukh’s parents, who passed away when he was very young, have been buried in Delhi.

“In hometown Delhi. Red Fort …cool evening…dancing on the roads like a Fan. Will go & visit parents at nite,” Shah Rukh wrote on the micro-blogging site.

The actor’s fan-club also posted a few pictures of Shah Rukh shooting for ‘Fan’ near Red Fort in Old Delhi on their Twitter handle.

Shah Rukh will be seen in a double role in ‘Fan’ – one as a superstar and another as the star’s fan Gaurav. The first teaser of the film which was released in July showed a glimpse of the actor in his signature pose of arms wide open. A second teaser was released on Shah Rukh’s birthday earlier this month which was all about the fan Gaurav.

Former supermodel Waluscha De Sousa will be making her Bollywood debut with this film as its leading lady.

The movie has been directed by Maneesh Sharma of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ fame and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. ‘Fan’ is slated to hit theatres on April 15, 2016.

Meanwhile, cinebuffs are eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh’s soon-to-release film ‘Dilwale’ which casts him opposite Kajol after a gap of five years. The film directed by Rohit Shetty releases on December 18.
