Shah Rukh Khan injures his knee yet again

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has injured himself yet again. The actor has reportedly hurt himself while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Raees’.

In a few pictures shared online, King Khan was spotted holding on to a crutch as he posed for photographs with his Fans on the sets of ‘Raees’. Shah Rukh, who has been battling his knee injury, seems to have exerted too much pressure and hurt his left knee again. Doctors are believed to have advised him to rest for a few days.

The Bollywood ‘badshah’ had first injured his left knee during the shoot of his film ‘Koyla’ in 1997. The injury recurred while filming his home production ‘Ra One’ after which he opted for a minimal invasive surgery to ease his pain. While shooting for a dance sequence for his 2014 film ‘Happy New Year’, Shah Rukh was again injured. His knee troubled him during the shoot of upcoming film ‘Fan’ in August last year. Thereafter, in May, 2015, he underwent an arthoscopic surgery of his left knee after suffering from repeated swellings and pain. Due to repeated injuries on the same knee, his patella is smashed.

Shah Rukh is currently juggling between his two films ‘Fan’ and ‘Raees’. He will be seen in the role of a bootlegger in ‘Raees’ which also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ is scheduled to release on Eid this year.

His film ‘Fan’ directed by Maneesh Sharma, is slated to hit screens on April 15.
