Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to reunite?

Speculations were rife that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and superstar Shah Rukh Khan were not on good terms, especially after the duo’s recent face-off at the box-office with their respective films ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’ releasing on the same day, December 18, 2015. However, both of them appeared cordial in Public.

A couple of days ago, Bhansali and Shah Rukh came across each other and got talking about movies for hours. "SRK has been eager to work with Bhansali and even requested him to direct a film which could be co-produced by them," a Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source as saying.

According to the report, the acclaimed filmmaker and King Khan were spotted at the Mirchi Music Awards function on Tuesday night (March 1). The ‘Hum Dil De Chuke’ director was seated with his mother Leela in the front row. When Shah Rukh arrived at the venue, he touched the feet of Bhansali’s mother who blessed him. The actor and Bhansali matriarch then hugged each other after which Shah Rukh took his seat beside his ‘Devdas’ director.

"Shah Rukh patiently waited for Bhansali and sat next to him. The two immediately got talking about movies," the report quoted a source from the event as saying. After the awards ceremony, both of them headed out for a late dinner at Bhansali's residence and chatted for hours, the report further stated.

Bhansali, who turned 53 on February 24, was supposed to announce his next big project for 2016 on his birthday. While speculations are rife that Bhansali's golden couple, Ranveer and Deepika Padukone, will be roped in for a third project with the filmmaker, Bhansali is playing his cards too close to his chest.
