Shah Rukh Khan, AbRam mobbed in Gujarat

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan often takes along his little son AbRam with him on the stes of his films and other places. King Khan took AbRam to Hyderabad on the sets of his last movie ‘Dilwale’ and now the actor arrived in Gujarat for the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Raees’.

AbRam got a taste of his superstar father’s stardom when he visited Bhuj where ‘Raees’ is being shot. First, AbRam looked on curiously at the frenzy of the crowd that greeted the father-son duo at the Bhuj airport last week. Shah Rukh held his little son protectively in his arms as he navigated the short walk to his car.

Then again, when Shah Rukh took time out of his busy shooting scheduled and visited a toy store with AbRam, they were mobbed by the actor’s fans who gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the superstar and his no-less-than-a-star cute son.

AbRam will get used to all such hype as he grows, but for the moment daddy dear held him protectively and made his way through the crowd amid tight security and waving his fans.

‘Raees’ is a crime-thriller set in 1980s Gujarat and narrates the story of a bootlegger whose illegal business is eventually thwarted by a tough police man. The film is loosely based on the life of Ahmedabad-based don Abdul Latif, and criticizes alcoholism, prostitution and illegal drugs in the state.

The film marks the debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, Govind Namdev, Gautam Rode, Aarya Babbar and Muhammad Zeeshan Ayyub among others are also cast in the movie.

Produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ is slated to release in July on the occasion of Eid.
