Shah Rukh greets fans outside Mannat on his 51st birthday
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who usually celebrates his birthday (Nov 2) with his fans and media every year, this time spent the special day with his family and close friends from the industry. The actor rang in his 51st birthday at a private party at his Alibaug address on Tuesday night.
However, keeping with the tradition, scores of Shah Rukh fans thronged around the actor’s residence Mannat, on Bandstand, Bandra (West), since Wednesday morning. They waited throughout the day in anticipation of a glimpse of their favourite star.
Their patience didn’t go in vain as Shah Rukh returned from after his Alibaug celebrations and greeted the gathering of his fans outside Mannat. He waved to his ‘jabra’ fans who had been waiting the whole day in the hope of seeing him outside his bungalow.
Shah Rukh clicked a selfie with the huge gathering of his fans behind him, and tweeted it with a lovely quote. “If I could, I would jump amidst you. So that you could take me home. Thank you all for coming and making my birthday so special. Love you!” he wrote with the picture.
He also shared a video of himself greeting his fans with the caption, “Thank you everyone who came from all over the world to wish me. U make me feel so special & loved. Really this is the best moment for me.”
