Shah Rukh, Katrina win Times Celebex ratings for November

Times Celebex has been touted as India’s foremost scientific and definitive ranking system for our Bollywood actors. It recently announced the top 50 rankers for last year’s Sept, Oct and Nov.

The fate of the stars of Bollywood is constantly changing. Every Friday we see the impressive rise of a star and the dramatic fall of another. In a world of such changing dynamics evaluating star ratings is a difficult task.

This is exactly where Times Celebex, that is powered by channel zoOm!, comes into play. The rating index of a star is based on various parameters. Taken into consideration are the ability of the stars to stay in news across television, internet and print, their performance at the box-office, their popularity among their fans on the social networking sites and the internet and their brand endorsements. These are calculated cumulatively to assign each star with a Times Celebex score, known as ‘T score’. Salman and Kareena won the Times Celebex rankings for September, while Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina won it for the month of November.

Times Celebex rankings are based on the data that is collected from more than 250 Television channels and 200+ publications.

The ratings for December will soon be announced. However, after this the ratings will be announced on the successive first of each month.

There were numerous reasons for Katrina to bag the number one spot. “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” collected more than 100 crores at the box-office. In all the popularity polls conducted she scored the highest. She is also the second ‘most searched’ Indian actor (female) on the internet. There are more than 1.7 crore searches made on her and there are 9.2 lakh fans in the social media.

She endorses twelve brands. Her sister Isabella’s entry into Bollywood made news and Nargis Fakhri’s comments on her made her reach the top spot.

Shah Rukh Khan too was catapulted to the number one spot for “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. He also earned the maximum PR score for his on-screen chemistry with his co-stars Katrina and Anushka. He is also the second “most searched” actor on the internet. There were 78 lakh searches conducted on him in November. He has more than 64 lakh fans in the social networking sites. He endorses 20 brands.

The others who made it to the top 10 list were Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kajol and many more.
