Shah Rukh and Kajol ‘nearly died’ shooting for ‘Dilwale’ song

Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are all set to enthral fans with their romance and action in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Dilwale’. The film was has been shot across Goa, Bulgaria and Hyderabad. However, shooting for the film was not that easy as Shah Rukh and Kajol “nearly died” while filming a song, revealed the ‘Fanaa’ actress.

Shah Rukh and Kajol had shot for a romantic track titled ‘Meri Subha Tum Hi’ in Iceland under extreme temperatures. The song choreographed by ace choreographer Farah Khan was filmed in August this year.

In a recent interview, Kajol revealed that though the song came out really well, they had worked like “dogs” and almost died while shooting for it.

“We shot this song in Iceland and finished it in just seven days. We worked like dogs in the cold weather, nearly died, turned blue but we had a great time,” Kajol was quoted as saying.

“We loved the song so much, you must have seen the snippets of it in the trailer but when you’ll see the song on screen, it’s looking so magical and so amazing. The magic that you keep talking about as a pairing also comes from that fact, honestly,'' the actress said.

‘Dilwale’ is being highly awaited as the film pairs Shah Rukh and Kajol, one of the most romantic on-screen couple of Bollywood, after a gap of five years. It also brings back the hit pair of Shah Rukh and Rohit who delivered the blockbuster ‘Chennai Express’ in 2013.

The romantic action comedy also stars an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Sanjay Mishra.

Co-produced by Rohit Shetty and Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Dilwale’ is set to hit theatres on December 18.
