The first poster of the film was released in April 2016, followed by a teaser soon after. The title was announced by the batting great through a Twitter contest. So far, four posters of the film have been released. The latest poster has the batting legend’s gloved hand holding up the bat with the colour combination of the Tricolour. In the backdrop is a jam-packed audience with raised hands in applause.
Just like the first poster, Sachin’s latest tweet has also gone viral with Shah Rukh Khan, Virendra Sehwag, Virat Kohli among others retweeting it and expressing their interest in watching it.
Sachin Tendulkar retired from all forms of cricket in 2013. His autobiography, ‘Playing it My Way’ was released shortly after. Sachin has since been involved in various media events, sharing the experiences that he has had over his illustrious 24-year career.
Sachin Tendulkar had made his debut for the national team in 1989 against Pakistan at the age of 16. He is the first player to get a double century in ODIs and is also the record holder for the most centuries in both Tests and ODIs.
