Sara Ali Khan visits Kedarnath with Abhishek Kapoor for recce of her debut

Sara Ali Khan is all set to make her debut opposite Bollywood hunk Sushant Singh Rajput in director Abhishek Kapoor’s next project titled ‘Kedarnath’. Recently, she was spotted with her co-star and director, along with her mom Amrita Singh outside a Bandra eatery. And now the team has visited the famous shrine in Uttarakhand for a recce.

A picture of Sara and Abhishek posing before the Kedarnath Temple is doing the rounds of social media. The picture has the filmmaker with the Tripundra or Rudra-Tilak on his forehead.

Accodring to a report in The Times of India, the 23-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh joined the film’s team in Kedarnath where they trekked for 22 kilometres and also attended the morning aarti at the temple and sought Lord Shiva’s blessings on Friday.

‘Kedaranth’ is said to be a love story and a considerable portion of the film will be shot in Kedarnath, the daily stated. Currently in its pre-production stage, the film will go on floors later this year.

It will be produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures. It is said tha Ekta, who shared a good bond with Amrita Singh, roped in Sara for the project. The film will also bring together Sushant with Abhishek who had erlier directed him in his debut ‘Kai Po Che!’.

While the team has been spotted together, neither Abhishek or Sushant have officially confirmed about her debut. When Sushant was recently asked about it, he was quoted as saying, “We still have to sign the film so I can't say much about working with Sara."
