‘Sanju’ Trailer: Ranbir Kapoor excels in the role of Sanjay Dutt


Ranbir Kapoor has very well studied the in and out of Sanjuay Dutt, who lived many lives in one lifetime. From his texture, gesture to style, Ranbir Kapoor caught each and every nerve of Sanjay’s character and delivered an award-winning performance in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, titled, ‘Sanju’. From day one, ‘Sanju’ remained in the limelight. The hype surrounding the film never died for a single day. Days ago, after the teaser was out, audience got to see Sanjay Dutt in Ranbir Kapoor and they shocked to see Ranbir’s transformation. Finally, today, the trailer of ‘Sanju’ helmed by Rajkumar Hirani was unveiled amidst media and Ranbir Kapoor hit the ball to the boundary.

‘Sanju’ showcases the highs and lows of Sanjay Dutt’s life. The film beautiful showcases the many turbulence that Sanjay Dutt faced in his life. From getting addicted to drugs to register his name in the list of prisoners, Sanjay’s life was not a cakewalk as star kids usually have.

Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt showcases how Sanjay got addicted to drugs. The trailer showed that Sanjay Dutt first took up drugs after he fought with his father, Sunil Dutt which was played by Paresh Rawal. The second time he took it when his mother Nargis Dutt played by Manisha Koirala passed away and the third time he admitted getting addicted to drugs that drove his life to the hell.

The trailer also shows how he was tortured in the police station and in his hell like life in jail when he was arrested for the illegal possession of arms in connection to the 1993 Bombay blasts.

The trailer also showed Anushka Sharma playing the role of a journalist and conversing with Ranbir Kapoor aka Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay admitted about having an affair with 350 girls excluding prostitute in the past.

Dia Mirza is seen in the role of Manyata Dutt while Sonam Kapoor might have played the role of Tina Munim. Vicky Kaushal plays Sanjay Dutt's bosom friend and his brother-in-law Kumar Gaurav.

‘Sanju’ showcases various aspects of Sanjay Dutt’s life and Ranbir Kapoor did full justice to the role.
