Sanjay Dutt resumes his career after coming out of jail

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who came out of Pune’s Yerwada Central Jail in February this year after completing his sentence, has finally resumed his work. The ‘Munnabhai M.B.B.S’ actor restarted his journey in front of the camera last week.

Ever since his release, Sanjay Dutt has been spending his time with his family, attending high-profile functions and catching up with friends in the past couple of months.

Dutt faced the camera for the first time after his release to shoot for an advertisement on May 13. The actor reportedly shot in Madh Island with a group of children and even bonded with them.

A leading publication quoted an insider as saying, “On the day of the shoot, Sanjay arrived on the set earlier than schedule. The crew requested the actor for some pictures, and he happily obliged. He even gave them autographs, making everyone, from the light man to the helpers, very happy. Sanjay finished the shoot before time, and even bonded with the kids, who were also part of the shoot.”

The ‘Khalnayak’ actor will soon begin work on his upcoming project, an action thriller to be directed by Siddharth Anand. Dutt has already started training and working on his physique. He is spending at least two hours daily working out and does some of the free-hand exercises that he learnt in jail.

“As he had no access to a gym in the prison, Sanjay started using two steel buckets filled with water as his dumb-bells. He still uses these buckets as his dumb-bells, and does all those free-hand exercises he used to do in jail, at his residence in Bandra (W). He dedicates two hours daily to this routine,” the source was quoted.
