#Sandesh2Soldiers: Aamir, Salman, Akshay send Diwali wishes to soldiers


In a campaign #Sandesh2Soldiers started by PM Modi, the Bollywood stars sends their special message to soldiers who are away from their families, fighting against the odds for our safety.

The Bollywood actors have joined the #Sandesh2Soldiers campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and along with their best wishes they have also urged people to send their special Diwali message to the soldiers. 

"This is a wonderful gesture. Our PM absolutely right, the support of 125 crore Indians for our soldiers will fill them with love. Let us all join him in sending our messages. Love a," Aamir, 51, tweeted along with the link of the video clip of PM Modi asking the people to send Diwali greetings to the defence personnels.

Salman, 50, also shared the same clip and captioned it, "A very happy Diwali to Indian soldiers from my side."

"The best way to celebrate a festival is with your loved ones and the good luck of spending festivals with our families is because of you (soldiers). Without even knowing us, you love us and keep us safe. 

"I dedicate this Diwali to all the soldiers...We are because of you. This was my message to the soldiers," the actor said in the video.

After PM Modi launched the campaign, many celebrities, politicians and people from different walks of life have tweeted good wishes to our jawans. PM Modi, retweeted many of these Diwali wishes.

"I sent my #Sandesh2Soldiers. You could also do the same. Your wishes will certainly make our forces very happy. This Diwali, let us remember our courageous armed forces who constantly protect our nation. Jai Hind. When 125 crore people stand with soldiers, their power increases by 125 crore times," the PM had tweeted.
