Salman turns Bajrangi Bhaijaan for real; reunites four kids with parents

Superstar Salman Khan who in his latest blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ reunited a Pakistani girl stranded in India, with her family has reprised the role in real life by helping four runaway boys reunite with their respective parents.

According to reports, Salman decided to help the children, aged between 11 and 16 years, when he learnt how they had fled their homes and now wanted to go back. Mumbai-based Antara Desai, who runs a company that helps celebrities associate with various charitable campaigns, got in touch with Salman.

The actor not only helped the children but also funded the whole initiative from paying for the parents to come down and making sure the boys have a secure future. The four kids from different parts of the country were reunited with their parents on Monday evening (August 17) in Karjat, Antara said.

“Salman was very emotional and so were the kids. They had no idea they were meeting Salman and what was going to happen next. A lot of them had run away when they were juveniles, so it was very emotional for the parents to meet them as well,” she added.

Antara further said that this will be an ongoing exercise and some more reunions are being planned in the next few days. “Salman will be associated with this for a long time. He will take care of all the expenses involved in this activity. He truly is a real-life ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.”
