Salman Khan bonds with Shah Rukh on his 50th b’day

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was paid a visit by his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Salman Khan on the occasion of his 50th birthday on Monday. Salman who will also hit the 50 years mark on December 27, personally wished his ‘Karan Arjun’ co-star.

Shah Rukh took to Twitter early on Tuesday to share pictures of him and Salman when the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star dropped at his residence late in the night to wish him. He also referred to Salman’s two upcoming movies ‘Sultan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in his tweets.

King Khan captioned the first picture as, “Bhai teaching me the moves for Sultan on my birthday.” Shah Rukh also posted another picture within seconds and wrote, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.”

The two Khan superstars had parted ways following a much publicized spat in 2008. The duo then made up during Salman’s sister Arpita’s wedding in November 2014. Thereafter, Salman had declared his friendship with Shah Rukh on the social media, while Shah Rukh also reciprocated by unveiling the first look of Salman’s film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

May you continue to shine and give us joy. Love. a,” Aamir posted on the micro-blogging site. He, however, did not tag Shah Rukh in his tweet.

Shah Rukh rang in his birthday by cutting a cake with his wife Gauri and children Aryan, Suhana and AbRam and then followed up with the customary celebrations with the media at a five-star hotel. His fans also gathered outside his bungalow to wish him, while many continued to wish him on the digital platform throughout the day.
