Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ ropes in Hollywood stuntman Larnell Stovell

Superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming project ‘Sultan’ has been in news ever since its teaser was launched announcing the film’s release date on Eid next year. The film is in its initial stages and the female cast for the film is yet to be finalised.

However, it has been learnt that the makers have roped in international stunt choreographer Larnell Stovell for ‘Sultan’as the stunt man. Larnell is a popular name in the West and is best known for the stunts in ‘Hunger Games’ series.

Larnell was recently in Mumbai to discuss about the stunts to be performed in ‘Sultan’. He also shared a picture of him with Salman on Twitter and wrote, "Looking forward to working with @BeingSalmanKhan soon on #Sultan #Mumbai great meeting you bro, let's make history!"

Salman was earlier also trained by Hollwood action specialist Stefan Richter in his film ‘Kick’.

In ‘Sultan’ Salman will portray the role of a 40-year-old wrestler. The movie is based on Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan. The makers are looking for a suitable female cast and recently there were reports that ‘Mary Kom’ actor Priyanka Chopra was approached to star opposite Salman. However, she suggested her cousin Parineeti Chopra’s name for the role.

Salman will have to work hard on his body to prepare for the role. He is currently busy filming Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which will wrap up soon. Thereafter he will gear up for ‘Sultan’.

The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is being produced by Yash Raj Films.
