Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera to monitor Justin Bieber’s security

Superstar Salman Khan’s trusted body guard Shera has been entrusted with the task of looking over the safety and security of singer Justin Bieber during his maiden India concert. The Canadian pop icon is set to perform in Mumbai on May 10 as a part of his Purpose World Tour.

Shera, whose real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, has been roped in to personally monitor the overall security arrangement and ensure a smooth and incident-free gig by Justin Bieber next week. He will be with the singer for his entire time in India.

Confirming the same, Salman was quoted by a leading daily, “The Khan family and I are very happy for Shera. There’s no need for any artist to be worried when Shera is around. He is very reliable and a complete no-nonsense person. A thorough professional, he is one of the finest in India and I swear by him.”

Shera has been with the ‘Sultan’ actor through his thick and thin. Shera's company has in the past handled security of international artists, including Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Jackie Chan, Paris Hilton, Shaggy, Peter Andre, Diana King, Whitfield, UB40, Slash, Keanu Reaves and U2.

Justin Bieber will be landing in India on May 7, and will stay in Mumbai until his concert on May 10. The 23-year-old will then move to Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
