Salman Khan trying to save Arbaaz-Malaika marriage?

Reports of trouble in the married life of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora have been doing the rounds for quite some time. Malaika had allegedly moved out of the Khan household and has been staying separately with her teenage son. However, Arbaaz had rubbished the split rumours, while Malaika chose to remain mum.

As per recent buzz, Salman Khan has taken it upon himself to resolve the differences between his brother Arbaaz and his wife Malaika. According to a report in an entertainment portal, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor called up his sister-in-law Malaika and had a nice long chat with her. Salman requested her to reconsider the decision of ending the 18-year-long marriage.

The report also stated that Malaika’s parents Joyce and Anil Arora also visited the Khan residence in Bandra, in all probability, to sort out the issues between their daughter and her actor-producer husband.

Besides, the Khan siblings – Salman, Arbaaz and the soon-to-be-mom Arpita Khan Sharma met up for dinner at a restaurant in Bandra recently. Malaika and her sister Amrita Arora and Arpita’s husband Ayush Sharma were also spotted at the dinner. It could have been an attempt to patch up things between Arbaaz and Malaika.

Malaika had left midway the shooting of reality show ‘Power Couple’ that she was hosting with hubby Arbaaz. But she recently came back to shoot for the finale and the couple also posed for some candid photos.

Arbaaz appears to be in a mood for reconciliation and in a recent interview on a TV show said that he is "possessive" about his wife and is "afraid" of losing her.

“When you achieve something or someone, you don’t want to lose the person. I love Malaika but I’m possessive about her. It wasn’t like this when she was younger or when I was new to the relationship, but it has happened now. She is very precious and dear to me. I love her more than anything else in the world. I’m afraid of losing her now,” he had said.
