Salman Khan to romance Deepika Padukone in YRF’s ‘Sultan’

Here’s a good news for Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone’s fans. The charming couple are coming together for Yash Raj Films ‘Sultan’ to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

The film is expected to on floor this year but Salman Khan’s busy schedule pushed the film behind. It was earlier reported that Katrina Kaif has been approached for the female lead but it is Deepika Padukone who grabbed the meaty project.

A source was quoted telling a leading website, "Salman and Deepika were to co-star in Shuddhi, but she could not do that film. She has already done three films with Shah Rukh Khan and was keen to do a film with Salman."

However, no official confirmation was made by Yash Raj Films. Salman Khan is highly impressed with the script and he immediately gave nod to the film. The film is said to go on floor before Salman Khan would starts shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’.

‘Sultan’ would be Salman Khan’s second film with Yash Raj banner after Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Toger’ and first film with Deepika Padukone.

Audience had seen Deepika romancing Shahrukh Khan in few movies and it would now be a treat to see the dimpled actress romancing the heartthrob of Bollywood, Salman Khan.
