Salman Khan to do cameo in ‘Judwaa 2’


Salman Khan starrer super-hit comedy 'Judwaa' is still fresh in the memories of audience even after almost two decades. The cult film that released in 1997 will now have a sequel with Varun Dhawan in the lead. And the good news is, Salman himself will be making an appearance in ‘Judwaa 2’.

A report in Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying that the makers have penned a special appearance for the ‘Sultan’ actor. The source revealed to the tabloid that Salman has already agreed to step in as a ‘godfather-gunda’ to Varun's twins.  

Salman’s dual role of estranged twins made for an entertaining watch. The superstar is equally excited about Varun Dhawan stepping into his shoes and is interested to be a part of the sequel. Varun himself is eagerly looking forward to the film which is expected to go on floors by mid-2017. The ‘Dishoom’ actor has brilliant comic-timing and will certainly do justice to his roles.

The script for the sequel is being written by duo Sajid-Farhad and it is generously peppered with ‘tapori’ slang and the movie will also have a remix of the chartbuster ‘Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara’ from the original.

The makers her on the lookout for suitable female leads to fill the shoes of Karishma Kapoor and Rambha. The hard-core commercial film is being planned on a grand scale and will be shot in beach locations in the Mediterranean.

‘Judwaa 2’ will be directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who have also directed and produced the original. The makers are targeting September, 2017 for releasing the sequel.
