Salman Khan sings qawwali in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’

Salman Khan shoots a qawwali for his upcoming film; ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and recently he posted a picture from the set where he posed with Nizami Bandhu.  The qawwali was shot at a durgah in the city. Salman was dressed in green shirt.

In the film, Salman plays a Muslim boy and Kareena, a Brahmin girl. This is Salman and Kareena’s third film together after ‘Kyon Ki’ and ‘Bodyguard’. This is Kareena Kapoor’s first film with director Kabir Khan while Salman has worked with Kabir Khan in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

The director claims ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is very different from ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Kabir Khan has just wrapped up ‘Phantom’ shoot with Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif.

“Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger are very different. Salman and I wanted to do something different together otherwise we would have made Ek Tha Tiger 2. Wait & watch,” Kabir added.

The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing a pivotal role. Nawazuddin again teams up with Salman after ‘Kick’. Kabir Khan is looking forward to work with Kareena for the first time.

Kabir said, "The film is unique for both Salman and me and has a larger-than-life background with a human story. It's a very important story in today's day and age and we are both very excited to start shooting it. While I have done three films with Katrina Kaif, I have always also admired Kareena and wanted to work with her. The film will be shot across many parts of India."

The film is scheduled to release during next year Eid.
