Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who arrived in Mumbai after wrapping up the Kashmir shooting for his film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, has sought the permission of the Bombay High Court to fly to Dubai for a show later this month.

The ‘Dabangg’ star is out on bail after being convicted in 2002 hit-and-run accident case. The High Court had on May 8 suspended his sentence and granted him bail pending the hearing and disposal of his appeal against the conviction.

The High Court also mentioned that the actor required to get the permission of the Court every time he wanted to leave the country.

Salman moved the Bombay High Court on May 20 for its consent to let him travel to Dubai for a show on May 29. A vacation bench of the High Court is likely to hear his appeal next week.

On May 6, the actor was convicted in the 12-year-old case by a Mumbai sessions court of ‘culpable homicide, not amounting to murder’ and sentenced him to a five-year jail term.

The actor then approached the High Court with an appeal against his conviction and a bail plea.

Salman was accused of ramming his car on to a pavement outside a bakery in Bandra and killing one person and injuring others in the early hours of September 28, 2002.
