Salman Khan rushed to meet Alia Bhatt after mishap

Alia Bhatt sustained burnt while performing at Big Star Entertainment Awards and she was immediately rushed to the hospital. The news of Alia’s mishap spread like a fire in a jungle and the actress was flooded with ‘get well’ messages from her fans around the globe.

After the mishap, she was given fast-aid and all medical aids. She rushed to her home to take rest and Salman Khan was the first to check in the well being of the 20-year-old actress.   

She sustained burns on her arms from a firecracker while performing at the award show on Sunday. Alia took to Twitter to thank her fans for their concern and assured them of her well-being. #Thank you guysss so much for all your concern, love and wishes !!! Things like this are a gentle reminder that we can't overlook safety.

The details of the accident not yet divulged but it occurred when Alia tried to protect her face from the firecracker 'as it hurled itself in her direction'. "She sustained burns on her left elbow and also suffered bruises on the forearm. She was in a lot of pain but still managed to complete her recording," TOI states.

A picture of her burnt arms surfaced on net. It was clicked when she was on her way to hospital.

On the work front, Alia is filming 'Udta Punjab' with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. She has signed Gauri Shinde's next starring Shahrukh Khan.
