Salman Khan parties with real-life wrestlers at ‘Sultan’ wrap-up


The shooting of Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ has been completed and the actor will soon begin the film’s promotion. The last schedule of the movie was shot in Rewari, Haryana.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to announce the wrap-up. He shared a picture of Salman driving a tractor and wrote, "Last day of @SultanTheMovie shoot begins with some early morning farming @BeingSalmanKhan. Eid is coming #JonSnow."

After completion of the shoot, team ‘Sultan’ had a wrap-up party which was attended by Hind Kesari wrestlers, Palwinder Cheema and Jagdish Kaliraman.

The director also shared a couple of pictures from the wrap up party which has the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor having fun with the real-life wrestlers. In one photo, one of the wrestlers has picked up Salman on his shoulder. “Wrestling games. Hind Kesari Jagdish kaliraman picks up sultan... At wrap party .....,” Ali Abbas captioned the picture.

Salman too proved that he is no less than a professional as he picked up both the grapplers on his shoulder. The director shared the picture on social media writing, “And finally Sultan puts his dav and lifts both of them...:)”

Salman essays the title role of Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan Cheema in the movie. Anushka Sharma plays a wrestler named Aarfa, ‘Haryana ki sherni’ and ‘Sultan ki jaan.’

Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sultan’ will hit theatres on the occasion of Eid this July.
