Salman Khan Candid About His Relation with SRK

Salman Khan has the knack of surprising people when they expect the least. He is known to be unpredictable. At the launch of ‘Bigg Boss’ season 7 in Mumbai, Salman was in a good and humorous mood. He candidly talked about his feelings for Shahrukh Khan.

At the event, Salman was asked if he would invite Shahrukh Khan on his show on ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman first joked with the host of the show, Gaurav Kapoor. He said, “Abhi mujhe problem hoga (now I’ll have problem).” Then on a serious note he said, “Of course, he is more than welcome if he has a film coming which he wants to promote on the show.”

At an Iftaar party, Salman and Shahrukh got face to face. They hugged each other and the industry got abuzz with news of their friendship. It is known that Salman and Shahrukh are rivals. They once had good relation but at the birthday party of Katrina few years back, the two had a fight and since then they are not in talking terms. Before this incidence, the two superstars have worked together in a couple of movies.

Salman was asked if he still had problem with Shahrukh Khan after the ‘hug’ at the Iftaar party, Salman said, “It was the month of Ramzan and if you are passing by all the guests at the Iftaar and you don't greet one then you are not being human.”

He further said, “Agar kisi se problem hai toh ussey kaam se maaro, jaise abhi abhi ek maar ke gaya hai.(if you have a problem with somebody, beat him with your work, like the one did recently).”

Salman was referring to Shahrukh Khan’s recently released movie ‘Chennai Express’ which did superb business and entered 200 crore club within 2 weeks of its release.

He also said, “If not my film, there is Aamir's film coming (Dhoom 3) and the new boy Ranbir Kapoor is also rising to the occasion.”

Well, Salman said so as the actor does not have any movie releases in the current year. Since Shahrukh’s movie did stupendous business, he meant that movie of Aamir Khan ‘Dhoom 3’ is on way to give competition to Shahrukh Khan. Salman has blocked all the major dates of 2014 for his upcoming movies. His movies ‘Kick’, ‘Mental’ and a project with Prabhudheva will release on important holidays in 2014.
