Salman files revision petition on chinkara case in Rajasthan High Court

Salman Khan has been sentenced to five years imprisonment for poaching the black buck in Jodhpur. Recently the actor spent a week in jail before he was released on bail. However it seems Salman’s problems are far from over as his case continues and he has to make innumerous rounds of various courts. Yesterday the actor was in Jodhpur to file a revision petition in the High Court.
Salman appeared before Mahendra Singh, Deputy Registrar of the Rajasthan High Court and marked his attendance by signing on his case file. He also attended a lower court where his chinkara case continues. November 23 has been fixed as the next date of hearing. The revision petition has been filed in the High Court against the upholding of his five year sentence in the chinkara case. Salman’s lawyers confirmed this saying “High Court will now hear his case in due course and Salman need not mark his presence before it till his turn comes for hearing.”

Salman has two more cases of hunting the endangered species of chinkara in other areas pending before the lower court. The actor also has a hit and run case pending in Mumbai against him. However Salman is currently concentrating on his films. Salman has several films on hand, he is currently shooting for Yuvraj, then there is Partner 2, God Tussi great Ho and several other film projects in the pipe line. Despite the fact that Salman has many criminal cases against him, filmmakers have not been deterred in approaching him for their films. In fact recently Salman has even signed a huge 12 crore film contract with Shree Ashtavinayak films . Salman is also currently promoting good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Saawariya in which he has a special appearance. Salman’s fans are anxiously waiting to see him once more in films.
