Salman celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi at Alvira Agnihotri’s residence

Salman Khan is known to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi each year with great enthusiasm and dedication by bringing idol of Ganapati at his residence. This year the actor along with his entire family is celebrating Ganesh Chturthi at Salman’s sister, Alvira’s residence.

Salman’s apartment’ Galaxy’ is under renovation. So the family decided to celebrate the festival at Alvira’s house. Alvira is married to actor turned director Atul Agnihotri.

A few days prior to the festival, Salman’s other sister, Arpita had tweeted, “It's that time of the year again when Ganpati Bappa is visiting us, looking forward to it. Can't wait !”

Earlier Salman was also planning to host the festival at his Panvel farmhouse, but then due to ongoing construction, he decided otherwise.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Salman was seen with his family. His father Salim Khan, his mother Salma, step mother Helen and his siblings Alvira Khan, Arpita Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan were present at the puja. Salman’s brother in law, Atul Agnihotri hosted the puja. A splendid Ganesh idol arrived before the puja began. The idol was decorated with jewels. Arpita helped with bringing the idol to the house while the other family members prepared for the puja. Arpita had worn a reddish pink and black suit. Arpita welcomed guests inside. Salman Khan arrived later. He was wearing a blue shirt and a pair of red trousers. Karishma Kapoor also joined the Khan family for the puja. Riddhima also arrived at the venue with her daughter. Riddhima is Karisma’s cousin and sister of Ranbir Kapoor.

Salman’s mother, Salma Khan arrived at the venue with her relatives. Helen also looked gorgeous. She has aged gracefully. She was looking beautiful in a red colored suit. Salman’s younger brother Sohail arrived on his bike. He is directing Salman in ‘Mental’. The movie will release next year. Arbaaz Khan arrived in his swanky car. Amrita Arora, who is Arbaaz Khan’s sister in law made an appearance with her husband, Shakeel Ladak and her son. She looked beautiful and petite in a maroon anarkali suit. TV anchor and actress Mini Mathur arrived with her children, Vivaan and Sanya. Mini looked fresh in a light orange colored sari. Newbie Prateik Babaar was dressed up casually in a pair of flip flops and denim pants. Actor Chunky Pandey had sported a half French cut beard. Actor Vatsal Seth was also seen in a casual get up. A number of other celebrities also arrived to seek blessings from lord Ganesha.
