Salman booked for hurting Muslim religious sentiments

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who is often called ‘controversy’s favorite child’ by fans and media alike has done it again. He has found himself at the center of controversy again with accusation of ‘hurting’ religious sentiments labeled against him. A fellow citizen Mohammad Asim Mohammad Arif lodged a complaint against Salman following which he was booked under the IPC Section.

According to the complaint, Salman’s charity organization Being Human had recently organized a fashion show in Mumbai. In the show, a model walked the ramp in a t-shirt that had Arabic inscriptions in it. The complainant alleged that this display has hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslim community. Officer Dilip Chavan who is in charge of the case has confirmed the news. He said, "We are investigating the case. The complainant has provided a video clipping of the fashion show". Salman already has enough legal troubles with the trial of his infamous hit and run case gaining traction again. The police have recently found all the missing documents related with the case. Some eye-witnesses have also testified against the actor in the court. It seems the actor already has his platter full.

Salman Khan is currently in the US for his routine medical check-up. But as per reports Salman is not just taking treatment there. Sources claimed that he has been approaching famous WWE wrestlers like John Cena, Olympic medal winner Kurt Angle, Triple H and Bill Goldberg to be part of the film on legendary Indian wrestler Gama that he is producing. Fellow Bollywood hunk John Abraham is also making a film on the same subject and apparently it is part of Salman’s efforts to outshine John.

John and Salman have a history of friction. Salman has already registered eight possible titles for the film so that John finds it difficult to name his film. Salman’s version will be directed by actor-director Puneet Issar who previously made ‘Garv’ with Salman in the lead. The role of Gama will be played by Salman’s brother Sohail Khan who is being trained by Indian Olympian Sushil Kumar. Puneet has said, "Sohail has been working out religiously and weighs 91 kg now. He needs to be 99 kg before we start filming in November."

During his US trip Salman also met old friend Preity Zinta and they spent some time together. Preity uploaded a photo of them together and wrote, "Spent last week in LA with the super sexy @beingsalmankhan. So nice to have him this side of the world ! Safe travels n take care Salman ! Loads of love."
