Salman and Katrina to do guest appearances on call center film

The book adaptation of ‘One night @ The Call Center’ authored by Chetan Bhagat will now be translated onto the big screen version. The book itself caused a lot of uproar because of its various contradictory opinions of call centers and its employee’s lifestyles. The film was earlier supposed to be made by Rohan Sippy but will now be produced by Paul Parmar and will see actor turned director Atul Agnihotri at the helm of the reins directing the film. Atul who is Salman’s brother-in-law has also decided to rope in Salman and Katrina for special appearances in the film.
Atul says “Rohan Sippy had brought the rights for producing a movie based on this novel. But we’ve acquired the rights from Rohan. In fact Chetan is closely working on the film adaptation as well.” The film has not yet been titled but Atul plans to give a short and sweet title this time. Atul also confirms “We’ve already finalized Zayed Khan and Sharman Joshi while Salman and Katrina will appear in guest roles. Salman will be there in the beginning, in the middle and towards the end. He’ll take you through the entire story.” The film is also based on just a single night and hence will not follow the traditional set up of song and dance. Nonetheless there will be some interesting and different music in the film. The shooting of the film is likely to begin in December and will be wrapped up by April 2007; the film will be shot in Delhi.

Atul had earlier made his directorial debut with Salman starrer ‘Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa’ but unfortunately the film did not do too well at the box-office. Atul’s wife and Salman’s sister Alvira has also just forayed into designing clothes mostly for Salman in his films, she was seen making her foray in the recent Baabul event. Looks like the entire family is going the film way and the Khans who already have a strong foothold are definitely lending a helping hand.
