Salim Khan slams Milkha Singh, backs son Salman Khan

Salim Khan, the veteran scriptwriter and father of superstar Salman Khan took a dig at sportsperson like sprinter Milkha Singh and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt for expressing their dissatisfaction of IOA’s decision of selecting Salman Khan as Rio Olympics goodwill ambassador.

The superstar was criticised by some noted sports personalities of the country and among them was sprinter Milkha Singh and wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt.

Meanwhile, the sports ministry on Monday said it "will not interfere" with the IOA's decision.

On Monday, Salim Khan finally broke his silence and took a dig at Milkha Singh in a series of tweets.

On Salman’s selection, Milkha Singh had said that sports personalities like PT Usha should have been considered by IOA instead of importing "a person from Bollywood".

Salim Khan added #Milkhaji it is not Bollywood it is the Indian Film Industry and that too the largest in the world.
