Saif Ali Khan & Kareena looking for new house after Taimur’s birth

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena are house hunting again. The couple welcomed their baby boy Taimur in December last year, and they are in need for more room. They have been looking for a more spacious house and have reportedly selected a few potential properties and will be purchasing a new home soon.

It hasn’t been long since Saif and Kareena moved into their current dream home at Fortune Heights, Bandra. Their present home has individual rooms for Sara and Ibrahim, Saif’s children from his first wife Amrita Singh, and also one for his mother Sharmila Tagore.

A report in Deccan Chronicle quoted a close friend of the couple as saying, “It’s a real pity that Kareena and Saif have to move so soon after they settled into their dream house. The home they built took four years to complete. Kareena and Saif personally supervised every brick in their home, turning it into a whole custom-made residence.”

The friend added, “It had individual rooms for everyone, including Ibrahim and Sara whenever they wanted to spend time with their dad, and for Saif’s mum Sharmila whenever she visited them from Delhi. But now, with Taimur’s arrival, they need a bigger place.”

Kareena’s mom, yesteryear actress Babita also lives a stone’s throw away from Saif-Kareena’s Fortune Heights home.

On the work front, Kareena will soon begin shooting for chick flick ‘Veere Di Wedding’, also starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and debutante Shikha Talsania. It will be co-produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and will be directed by Shashank Ghosh.

Saif on the other hand will be seen in Raja Krishna Menon's ‘Chef’, the Hindi adaptation of Jon Favreau’s eponymous Hollywood movie. It is scheduled to release on July 14.
