Saif Ali Khan backs Sajid Khan

While all has been criticizing Sajid Khan’s for ‘Himmatwala’ debacle that stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannah in the lead, actor Saif Ali Khan stands by the failed director as according to him, one flop film cannot certify the ranking and directing caliber of any director.

Sajid Khan’s next movie is with Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Ritiesh Deshmukh and he will work on the project very soon. Saif is filming ‘Bullet Raja’ and once he completes shooting, he will start shooting for Sajid Khan’s untitled project which is going to be a comedy.

“It would be spineless on my part to leave the film just because of one Friday. Sajid always said that he was making a film set in the ’80s and that’s exactly what it was,” the tabloid quoted Saif Ali Khan as saying.

42-year-old Saif who is busy with Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Bullet Raja’ and ‘Go Goa Gone’ said that he is looking forward to work with Sajid Khan.

“I have seen the film. At least he tried to do something different and that’s what is important. Sajid has made some really successful films like ‘Housefull’. I am keen to work with him in his next film,” he added.

Sajid is going through tough phase in his professional life. He has been ousted from directing ‘Housefull 3’ due to his fallout with Akshay Kumar. Sajid’s comment about Akshay being a flop actor did not go well with Akshay and ‘Housefull’ producer Sajid Nadiadwala and following which Nadiadwala dropped Sajid from the film. Nadiadwala is close to Akshay Kumar and Sajid’s unpleasant comment about Akshay also did not go well with him.
