Rishi Kapoor removes funny meme of Alia after facing flak from Twitteratis

Bollywood Veteran Rishi Kapoor who made a hilarious joke about Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha on Twitter, didn’t seem to go down well with the fans of the two ladies.

Rishi made his presence felt on the micro-blogging site when he pulled a gag on Alia and tweeted a meme that read, “Alia reads in newspaper: Police caught 80 kg heroin!” To which Alia exclaims, “shit yaar, Sonakshi ko kyon pakda!!!”

The actor’s post trolling the ‘Highway’ star sent a fury among the fans of Alia and Sonakshi as they found it offensive, especially since it was apparently making fun of the ‘Dabangg’ girl’s weight. The tweet was severely condemned after which Rishi removed it from the site.

The actor might have meant it in good humour but didn’t have the least idea that his tweet will enrage the fans so much. After taking it off, he tweeted, “Why do you guys take all things so seriously?Arre both Alia and Sonakshi are like my own kids. I just found it funny. Get a sense of humour, yaar!”

Rishi is currently shooting in Coonoor for Shakun Batra’s ‘Kapoor & Sons’ along with Alia, Sidharth Malhotra and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

It may be interesting to note that recently a random twitterati faced the wrath of Abhishek Bachchan for a meme of his daughter Aaradhya, intending to make fun of him. The ‘Raavan’ actor slammed the user by saying that it was “NOT cool” to bring kids into the picture.

Salman had also come hard upon some Twitter users asking them to stop trolling his friends Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

And now, one from the film fraternity has started trolling!
