Rishi Kapoor almost cancer free, will be back soon: Randhir Kapoor

The speculation surrounding Rishi Kapoor’s disease has finally ended. His brother and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, who earlier denied commenting on Rishi Kapoor’s disease has accepted that his brother suffered from cancer and after his long treatment in New York he is almost cancer free and will be back to Mumbai soon.

"He is undergoing treatment, he is much better. He is almost cancer free. He will take some time to come back as he has to finish his course. He will be here in the next couple of months. Very soon," Randhir told PTI.

The Kapoor family has always refrained from commenting anything about Rishi Kapoor’s disease. Neetu Kapoor’s New Year’s post sparked the rumor that he is suffering from cancer.

"Happy 2019... No resolutions only wishes this year! Less pollution, traffic! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign! Good health," she had shared on Instagram along with a picture with her family.

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail on Tuesday posted a picture of himself with actor Rishi Kapoor on his Facebook page and wrote: "Rishi Kapoor (Chintu) is cancer free."

Rishi Kapoor's actor brother Randhir Kapoor earlier told: "I don't know much about it but this much I can tell you that (Rishi Kapoor) is doing well, that's all. Let people say whatever they want to."
