Riddhi Dogra eliminated from ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’

Television actress Riddhi Dogra eliminated from the stunt-based reality TV show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns'. Ridhi revealed as why she got evicted from the show. She was 'irritated' with insects-based stunts and failed to stand.

Riddhi Dogra, who appeared in 'Savitri' and 'Nach Baliye 6' says the six-week journey was "a very good experience".

"I used to believe that I'm not really fearful and scared of anything. So, I wanted to test that and I realised that I'm really not scared of anything," Ridhi told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

“My elimination stunt was with cockroaches. It was not that I got frightened, but I got irritated with them. So, it's not fear that got me eliminated.

“I didn't want them on me. I was so angry at them for walking on my body. They really made me feel annoyed,” she added.

However, Riddhi says she has learnt a lot from the show.

“One thing that I was able to overcome was my fear of height. Now, I'm not that scared of it. I've gained a lot of mental strength from the show. If we can put our mind into something, then we can definitely attain success from it,” she said.

Remembering her days on the show, which was shot in Cape Town, South Africa, she said: “We did all kinds of stunts there. For one stunt, I was in a tank full of water. That time I felt I was in the middle of a tsunami.”

Riddhi is planning to take up challenging roles in future.

She added: “Right now, I've purposely not taken up a show because I'm waiting for something challenging and exciting. My previous two shows 'Maryada' and 'Savitri' have really spoiled me as an actor. My work on both these shows required me to challenge myself as an actor. I want to do fiction in future.”

She is the fourth contestant to get eliminated. Video jockey and host Archana Vijaya and actors Harshad Arora and Sidharth Bhardwaj were previously ousted from the show.

Hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, the celebrity contensts now fighting for the title are Ashish Chowdhry, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Iqbal Khan, Sana Khan, Sagarika Ghatge, Rashami Desai, Asha Negi, the multi-faceted Meiyang Chang, Kabaddi star Rakesh Kumar and item girl Nathalia Kaur.
