Revealed: Aamir Khan’s aged wrestler look in ‘Dangal’

Aamir Khan is loved for his versatility- from chocolate boy looks in several of his romantic movies, to the mix of funny and serious roles in ‘PK’. This multi-talented actor steals the show with his brilliant acting and impressive personality. He welcomes new and challenging roles with open arms. This is exactly what he did in ‘Ghajini’, that required him to sweat in the gym for his dynamic role.

Aamir has delighted his fans with yet another brand new look. This time, the ace actor has donned the look of a wrestler. But do not be fooled by the name of the profession. The first look that Aamir has posed for this role is not at all that of a young wrestler. In fact, he is seen with gray hair and white beard!

The movie that features Aamir in this brand new look is ‘Dangal’. The film is a biography on the famous wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Aamir never mentioned anything about this upcoming flick, while he was promoting his last film ‘PK’. But now, the actor has revealed this good news, and also his look for the movie.

Recently, he was seen with his gorgeous wife Kiran Rao. He sported a salt pepper beard and looked absolutely handsome in even this old avatar. In ‘Dangal’, Aamir would be playing a wrestler. As for his personal life, he would be seen as the father of two girls. It has been reported that Aamir is working quite hard for this role. He is undergoing rigorous physical training to get that perfect body of a wrestler. Moreover, he is being guided by some fitness experts from Hollywood for this purpose. Aamir spends a full 2 hours on his training every day.

‘Dangal’ is a Nitesh Tiwari directorial. Nitesh is known for his previous projects - ‘Chillar Party’, ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ and ‘Kill Dil’. The 2011 release ‘Chillar Party’ did very well, winning National Film Award in the category of Best Children's Film. The supernatural comedy ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ in 2014 featured Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, but performed below average at the box office. ‘Kill Dil’ was another of Nitesh Tiwari’s project that didn’t do well.

After these two not-so-good projects, it is interesting to see how the director’s next venture ‘Dangal’ would do. Though the dates for this upcoming movie haven’t been decided yet, it is expected to go on the floors either at the end of this year, or in the beginning of 2016.
