Remo D’Souza to make ‘ABCD 3’ with Varun, Shraddha


Choreographer-director Remo D’Souza who is on cloud nine following the success of his film ‘ABCD 2’, said he will make a third instalment of the franchise with the same cast of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, once all of them are free from their other professional commitments.

Speaking at the success party of ‘ABCD 2’, Remo said, “Right now we are all in to ABCD 2. I am shooting something else, Varun is shooting something else and so as Shraddha. So once we three are free from our other commitments, we will make ABCD 3.”

‘ABCD 2’ is the sequel of his 2013 directorial ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ which was also a blockbuster.

The dance-based film marched into the 100 cr league collecting approximately Rs 104.44 at the box office within 17 days of its release on June 19.

Besides Varun and Shraddha, ‘ABCD 2’ also starred choreographer Prabhudeva, Dharmesh Yelande, Lauren Gotleib, Raghav Juyal and a host of other dancers in the periphery.

Meanwhile, Remo is busy with his upcoming dance reality show ‘Dance +’, where he will be the ‘maha judge’. Shraddha too has her hands full with ‘Rock On!! 2’ Shabbir Khan’s ‘Baaghi’ opposite Tiger Shroff and another Shabbir’s directorial to be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Varun is shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’. He also has a string of other films, like ‘Dishoom’ which will be directed by his brother Rohit Dhawan, while his mentor Karan Johar has also signed Varun and Alia Bhatt for his production ‘Shuddhi’.
