Rejoice! Chandan Prabhakar returns to The Kapil Sharma Show

Comedian Chandan Prabhakar aka Chandu Chaiwala of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has returned to the comedy-cum-chat show. He had earlier left the show after Kapil assaulted his fellow comedian Sunil Grover and Chandan on board a flight in March this year.

Chandan has already shot for his comeback episode. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE, Chandan opened up about his decision to re-join Kapil. “See every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We are like family; I have spent half of my life with Kapil. If I make it a big issue, saying ‘Mujhe zindagi mein tere saath kaam nahi karna,’ then it’s not right. It’s OK if I reacted then, but I can't stretch it for life. In a family, two brothers fight but that does not mean that they leave each other forever,” he said.

Speaking about the delay, Chandan said that he wanted to relax for some time, and that was why he didn’t appear in any other shows like his counterparts Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar who have done special shows.

Meanwhile, Sunil, Ali, Sugandha Mishra have reportedly teamed up with Kapil’s rival Krushna Abhishek for a new show. However, Chandan denied being approached for the new show. He said, “If anything happened between me and Kapil, that is a personal thing. It does not mean that I will gang up with someone else."

Chandan also reavealed that Kapil tried his best to reconcile and visited his house to see his new born daughter. "He called me many times. He came to my house with his family to see my new born daughter and meet my family. So, I realised that I should not hold a grudge for life," he said.

He also denied being paid a higher amount for his return to the show, and said that he was offered good money for other shows, but he wasn’t someone who runs after money. He also said that he cared least for people who think that he compromised with his self-respect saying that he can’t lower his love for Kapil, and that he wanted to live with his choice.
