Rapper Badshah hospitalised following complaints of breathlessness

Popular rapper Badshah has been hospitalised recently, after he complained of breathlessness. He was rushed to Fortis Hospital in New Delhi on January 22, where doctors advised him to rest and not to take strain.

Reportedly, the ‘DJ Wale Babu’ singer’s had been on a tight work schedule for the past few days, which took a toll on his health. He had been managing shows across Pune, Surat, Mumbai and Noida from January 18-22.

A leading daily quoted a source close to the singer as saying, “Badshah was working constantly and travelled across cities for his professional commitments. He visited Pune on January 18 for a college show and then he went to Surat for a water park brand shoot. He stayed in Mumbai on January 20 and 21 and went to the shoot of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Dil Hai Hindustani'. On January 22, he again flew to Noida to attend the college programme organized by Symbiosis Centre for Management, Symbiosis International University."

“After he complained of breathlessness, Badshah was admitted to the hospital. He is under investigation and has been advised complete bed rest. His parents and management team are with him in the hospital," the source added.

Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, is popular for his Bollywood songs like ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’, ‘Saturday Saturday’, ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ and the recent ‘The Breakup Song’ and ‘Humma Humma’.

Badshah and his wife Jasmine, recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The couple tied the knot in 2012.
