Ranveer Singh’s parents organizes griha pravesh for bahu Deepika Padukone

After a grand wedding in Italy, newly married couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone landed in Mumbai yesterday. From the airport, the couple straightway headed to Ranveer’s Shree apartment. They also stepped out of the apartment for the paparazzi. Ranveer’s apartment was decked with lights.

Reportedly, Ranveer Singh’s parents had arranged a griha pravesh ceremony for their bahu as per Sindhi customs.

The newlyweds arrived at Ranveer’s abode along with his father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, mother Anju Bhavnani and sister Ritika Bhavnani. According to a report, Deepika’s in-law arranged a proper a  griha pravesh ceremony at their residence for their beloved bahu.

A source close to the couple told the leading daily, “The Bhavnanis had organised a traditional griha pravesh for their bahu as per Sindhi customs. Ranveer’s family welcomed Deepika with an aarti and played a few customary games, too. She stayed at their residence last night. Today, they will head to her Prabhadevi home.”

Ranveer does not want to relocate Deepika from her present location and so he has decided to move in with her.

The report also suggests, “The newlyweds will stay in DP’s apartment till they get their new house ready. As of now, the wedding celebrations continue. The superstar couple will fly with the Bhavnani clan for the wedding reception in Bengaluru on November 21 before hosting a grand bash in Mumbai on November 28.”
