Rani Mukherji to deliver her first baby in South Mumbai hospital

Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherji are soon going to be proud parents of a baby girl or a boy. The delivery is due in January and the couple has chosen a South Mumbai hospital for the delivery of their first child. Highly thrilled Rani and Aditya are constantly in touch with a Mumbai doctor.

The good news was broke by Rani’s sister-in-law Jyoti Mukherji. Before that the rumor of Rani’s pregnancy cropped up when the actress was spotted in a spa in London for the prenatal massage. Rani is quite religious and before heading for Europe vacation, the ‘Mardaani’ actress has performed puja at Yash Raj for the well being of the unborn child.

"Rani is very religious and hence the moment, she returned, she decided to have a puja in the office for the well being of her baby. She is currently in her second trimester and her medical reports are all normal," revealed an insider.

The puja was attended by only close family and friends of the couple. Rani’s pregnancy report first sparked off when the ‘Mardaani’ actress was spotted at a plush spa in London months back where she received a prenatal massage. “Rani has been away from media glare for some time now, and there are speculations that she is pregnant. She was recently spotted holidaying in London, where she looked relaxed, and was glowing. She was seen visiting a plush spa for prenatal massage," a Mumbai tabloid quoted a source as saying.

Aditya prefers to keep low profile and post marriage Rani also started following the footsteps of her hubby and hardly seen in public events. A source close to the actress revealed, “Rani is already booked on family time. She is enjoying married life and the idea of doing nothing, looking forward to the baby".

Sources close to both Adi and Rani informed that the duo is excited with the good news. A source close to the YRF head honcho said, “Aditya Chopra is on the seventh heaven with Rani’s pregnancy news. Adi has got someone from the US to do up the baby’s nursery room. This room is being done on a really lavish scale.”
